Thank you for your interest in the Special Events & Catering Department services. Our team of catering professionals is available to assist you with planning every aspect of your event. Should you desire a customized menu or have any special requests, we would be happy to assist.

If you’re looking for a custom menu outside of our regular catering offerings, just give us a call or email, and we’ll be happy to work with you to tailor a menu to your needs.

Event Planning Guidelines

  • Payments accepted via credit card or P.O. through the catering system.
  • 72 hours’ notice requested for catering events; more notice preferred.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice requires direct phone call to catering office.
  • Freshly prepared items may not be available with less than 72 hours’ notice.
  • All prices are per person unless otherwise specified and exclude sales tax.
  • 24-hour cancellation for cold food; 48-hour for specialty or hot food.
  • Disposable dishware included; china available upon request.
  • Additional charges for china, flowers, rentals, service staff, etc.
  • All catering equipment must be returned same day unless shelf-stable.
  • After-hours pickups incur labor charges.
  • Regular service hours: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Catertrax is locked

If the Catertrax page is locked, it means time slots are full. Please call the catering office directly for assistance.

Outside Catering

Outside catering is allowed, but you must manage all logistics. Guckenheimer Catering cannot handle food they did not provide.

Ordering Tables

We can assist with table orders. Please provide at least 5 days’ notice. Rentals may be arranged if Alcon resources are unavailable.

Service/Labor Charges

Events outside regular hours incur labor charges:
$40/hr (Weekdays), $50/hr (Weekends) per server/culinarian.

Leftover Snacks/Beverages

Please store any remaining pre-packaged items appropriately.

Cancellation Fees

48-hour notice for hot/specialty food; 24-hour for cold food. Late cancellations may be charged full price.

Other Fees

Labor and equipment rentals are the most common additional charges. Contact the catering office for details.

PANTRY SERVICE POLICIES

Pantry service is simplified delivery to your desk/office without setup. Available Thursdays & Fridays. Please order at least 72 hours in advance.
